只是用了一点小电脑特技罢了影中“丹中尉”的扮演者加里·辛尼斯（Gary Sinise）在电影后半段演的残疾的“丹中尉”只是在拍摄的时候穿了一双特制的蓝子，在电影的后期制作时用电脑去掉已。
阿甘正传里的丹上尉真的是残疾
特技特技人员让演员那条“没有”了的腿上套上一只长的蓝袜子，然后在后期制作时把这只腿抹掉。
